Terms of Use
Effective Date: June 29, 2026
Last Updated: June 29, 2026
Welcome to Astra Hosting Ltd. These Terms of Use (the “Terms” or “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between you (the “Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Astra Hosting Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your purchase, access to, and use of our web setup concierge, migration, and technical implementation services (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing any setup package, accessing our website, or otherwise utilizing our Services, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.
1. Definitions
To ensure absolute clarity throughout this Agreement, the following terms are defined:
-
Agreement: These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific order forms or invoices related to your purchase.
-
Services: The selection, purchasing assistance, migration, and technical configuration of web environments as defined in our specific package tiers (e.g., Starter, Standard, Professional, Premium).
-
Third-Party Provider: External entities and infrastructure companies that provide the actual server hardware, domain registration, networks, and software licenses (e.g., Hostinger, Namecheap, Cloudflare, WordPress).
-
Deliverables: The finalized technical setup, including the configured hosting account, Content Management System (CMS), e-commerce integrations, and associated security configurations handed over to the Client.
-
Handover: The specific point in time when Astra Hosting Ltd delivers the final administrative credentials and notifies the Client that the setup is complete.
2. Scope of Services & Delivery
Service Nature & Agency Astra Hosting Ltd acts exclusively as an expert technical intermediary and setup concierge. We do not own, operate, lease, or maintain the physical servers, data centers, or network infrastructure. When we purchase domains or hosting on your behalf, we do so acting solely as your authorized agent. The resulting digital assets belong entirely to you.
Delivery Timeframes We endeavor to complete all standard setups within one (1) calendar week of receiving all necessary onboarding information, payments, and credentials from the Client. However, time is not of the essence. Delays caused by the Client’s failure to provide information, or delays originating from Third-Party Providers (e.g., prolonged DNS propagation, KYC verification holds), will correspondingly extend this timeframe.
Scope Limitations Our obligations are strictly limited to installing and configuring the exact software, infrastructure, and settings explicitly listed in your purchased package tier. Custom web design, graphic design, content creation, copywriting, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and custom API development are fundamentally outside the scope of these setup Services unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate, written, and signed contract.
3. Client Obligations
To ensure the seamless and timely execution of the Services, you agree to the following obligations:
-
Timely Access & Information: You must supply accurate contact details, preferred domain names, and any pre-existing account credentials necessary for the setup within forty-eight (48) hours of your purchase.
-
Identity Verification (KYC/AML): You agree to promptly provide any government-issued ID, proof of address, or corporate documentation required by Third-Party Providers for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or identity verification during the registration process.
-
Lawful Use: You warrant that the content you intend to host on the configured environments is strictly lawful and does not violate any local, national, or international laws.
-
Account Security Post-Handover: You assume complete and sole responsibility for updating, changing, and securing all passwords, API keys, and access credentials immediately upon our final Handover of the Deliverables.
4. Third-Party Fees & Acceptable Use
Separation of Costs The one-time concierge setup fee paid to Astra Hosting Ltd covers our labor and technical expertise. It does not include the ongoing operational costs of the Third-Party Providers. You are solely responsible for setting up billing for, and paying, all recurring hosting fees, domain renewals, premium plugin subscriptions, SSL certificate renewals, and bandwidth overages directly to the provider.
Third-Party Terms of Service By accepting these Terms, you inherently agree to be bound by the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Terms of Service of your chosen or assigned Third-Party Provider. Astra Hosting Ltd holds zero liability if your account is penalized, suspended, or terminated by a Third-Party Provider for violating their terms (e.g., hosting prohibited content, copyright infringement, spamming, or resource abuse).
5. Payments, Fees, and Chargebacks
Payment Processing & Taxes All setup packages must be paid in full upfront before any technical work commences. Prices are listed exclusive of applicable taxes (such as VAT) unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed exclusively via approved, secure fiat gateways (e.g., Stripe, credit card processors, or direct corporate bank transfers). All international client transactions are billed and settled directly in USD.
Non-Refundable Policy Due to the custom, labor-intensive, and immediate nature of our concierge Services, all setup fees are strictly non-refundable once technical work, infrastructure purchasing, or formal consultation has commenced.
Chargebacks & Disputes Any unjustified chargebacks, payment reversals, or disputes filed by the Client will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of any ongoing support. Furthermore, Astra Hosting Ltd reserves the right to report fraudulent disputes to the respective Third-Party hosting provider, which may legally result in the suspension or termination of your hosting assets and domains.
6. Handover, Acceptance, and Support
Acceptance of Deliverables Upon our notification of completion (Handover), you have three (3) calendar days to review the Deliverables and report any missing technical features explicitly outlined in your purchased package tier. If no written communication is received within this 72-hour window, the setup is legally deemed accepted, finalized, and fulfilled.
Post-Setup Support Limitations Post-setup support is determined by your specific package tier. This support is strictly limited to troubleshooting the original configurations implemented by Astra Hosting Ltd.
-
Included: Fixing broken links caused by our initial setup, troubleshooting SSL issues originating from our configuration, or advising on basic CMS usage.
-
Excluded: Rectifying user errors, fixing issues caused by modifications made by the Client after Handover, dealing with third-party server outages, or troubleshooting incompatible third-party plugins installed post-setup.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Astra Hosting Ltd retains all rights to its proprietary setup scripts, methodologies, and internal software used to facilitate your deployment. However, upon full payment and final Handover, you own all rights, titles, and interests in your specific domain names, hosting accounts, and the content hosted within them.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Astra Hosting Ltd, its directors, employees, affiliates, or contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the total amount paid by you to Astra Hosting Ltd for the specific Service in dispute.
We specifically disclaim liability for:
-
Loss of profits, sales, goodwill, or business revenue.
-
Data loss, server downtime, or network latency caused by the Third-Party Provider.
-
Security breaches, DDoS attacks, malware infections, or hacking incidents occurring after the Deliverables have been handed over.
-
Financial losses tied to e-commerce downtime or misconfigured payment gateways after the Acceptance period.
9. Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astra Hosting Ltd and its personnel from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal and attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
-
Your use or misuse of the configured hosting environment.
-
The content, products, or services you publish or sell on your website.
-
Any violation of these Terms or the terms of a Third-Party Provider.
-
Any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights by you.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
In providing these Services, Astra Hosting Ltd will process your personal data securely and strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). We will only share your necessary details (such as name, address, and email) with chosen Third-Party Providers for the sole, legal purpose of registering domains and hosting accounts in your name.
11. General Provisions
Force Majeure Astra Hosting Ltd shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, global network outages, government actions, pandemics, or natural disasters).
Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver No failure or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Client irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
Amendments Astra Hosting Ltd reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time without prior direct notice. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your explicit consent to those changes.
